Gardenia Dress

This dress no doubt looks so summery, with the bright flowery color palette and shoulder ties, it represents summer fun. I actually want more spring time, summer is here too soon… but it’s better than long winter which is very much not my season as I come from tropical region. So, here is it the summer dress made for my little darling.

Peach Tulle Dress

The 2 last months of the year is the best time for nice party dress, there are many occasions where one can wear pretty dresses… Start with thanksgiving, then christmas, and new year. This also is the best time for making tulle dress for my little one. First time sewing tulle dress, it actually is not as hard as I thought.. Don’t let the texture and the look of it intimidating you, it is manageable.

Believe it or not, I only spent less than 5 bucks for this dress and still got plenty fabric left. I name this dress Peach Tulle Dress, my little one wear it on thanksgiving day. It’s big enough to fit her until next summer I think 🙂

Hope it inspires you! Happy thanksgiving!

Flower Garden Summer Dress

I almost forgot about this one, very late posting because first, this was the project I did a month ago and second, it’s end of summer, look like this dress will be the last summer dress project for this year.

I had so much fun working on this dress, the fabric itself is very inspiring…  happy with the outcome.

Backless Tie Dress

My favorite part of this dress is the blue fabric that I got from JoAnn with 40% coupon. So classy, elegant, and also cute at the same time, children version of toile fabric. The design inspiration came from the romper I saw at Janie&Jack. Instead of romper, I changed it to dress. This dress is very versatile, it can be adjusted to adapt to my little one’s growth. When she is taller I just need to lower the tie, when she is bigger the elastic band on the waist area will still make her comfortable. Hopefully it brings you inspiration!
